DEA Basic Drug Investigation Course

SYNOPSIS

The Drug Enforcement Administration will be conducting a Basic Narcotics Investigator School. All participants must be full-time, sworn law enforcement officers and considered “On-Duty” while attending the course. This is an 80 hour course requiring students to attend all classes and pass all examinations for successful completion.

OBJECTIVES

The course will cover subjects including but not limited to: Drug Identification and Pharmacology, Confidential Source Management, Basic Undercover Operations, Basic Surveillance, Basic Financial Investigations and various other topics relating to narcotics investigations.
