Course Synopsis
Students will learn about the latest breakthroughs in cell phone forensics using MSAB’s Ecosystem of Mobile Forensics. The workshop will cover good practices and techniques used to examine popular smartphones including methods used to bypass security. Attendees will learn how to recover cloud data, messaging app data, and correlate common data between multiple devices via instantly plotted connection diagrams, timelines, and geomaps. Student will also become familiar with MASB products and/or programs.
Course Objective
Student will learn basics on cell phone forensics in addition to familiarization of MASB’s products/technology including XRY and XAMN.

Mr. Wil Hernandez - Wil Hernandez joined MSAB in 2015 after retiring from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and over 30 distinguished years in law enforcement. His ascent to the rank of Captain included assignments to multiple Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Forces, supervisory roles in Cyber High Tech and Cybercrime Units, teaching courses for NW3C and FBI CART, as well as recognition as “Outstanding Law Enforcement Officer of the Year” by the US Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Florida.
